New Artwork For My Wall
I just want to thank everyone that made our St. Patrick's Day so much fun this past Saturday at The New Bern Farmer's Market. I can't say enough how nice it is to meet new friends and visit with our regulars. I look forward to my Saturdays at the market even more now that I miss one Saturday every month because of my new job.
I am excited to share a new piece of art I have for my wall. I made an artists trade and came home with this awesome bike as my bounty.

Snow Storm Bicycle By Patty Haberman of Dreaming Turtle Designs.
This framed print that I adore is now proudly hanging on my wall. I have blogged about Patty before and recommend anyone to pay her booth a visit at The New Bern Farmer's Market. She just started creating some beautiful sketchbooks/ notebooks/ or journals that are completely handmade. She puts a lot of love and work into them and it shows. I have to admit I have a weak spot for journals. As an artist I really can't have enough of those. So please do yourself a favor if you love journals like me and check them out. :)

No NBFM For This Busy Girl
So life has taken me on all kinds of twists and turns lately. Thankfully a lot of those turns recently have been a blessing. I have started a new job a few weeks back and my schedule has become crazy again. That being said I will not be attending The New Bern Farmer's Market this Saturday, March 10, 2011. I will as always try to make new things for the next market day between now and then. It seems my Etsy site has become delayed but I will not get discouraged. I will get there. Since last Saturday I have been completely excited about a purchase I made at the market. I bought a original Jennifer Nance silhouette. When I first started selling at the NBFM I would always have visitors tell me all about her and how awesome her work was. So last week I got the chance to meet her and she was super nice. I love her work and can't wait to talk to her again. We hope to work together on a show in the future. ( fingers crossed ) Below is her silhouette hanging proudly on my wall.

OTHER THINGS............
Silhouette I am working on of my parents.
I want something extra special for my wall. I am inspired to create all of my family members and put them on my wall of paper art. I will update my progress little by little. I am sorry I will not be at The New Bern Farmer's Market this Saturday. I will see everyone next Saturday!! Please feel free to contact me with any special request orders.
